Through our platform, members join or create their own activity-based groups - from trail running to rock climbing. Romp’s goal is to create a unique community, offering a safe space, accountability, and unconditional support for those recovering from alcohol and drug addiction.
Traditional recovery options often require in-person attendance, structured programs, or clinical oversight, all of which can be inaccessible, stigmatized, or insufficient for individuals seeking alternative paths.
Many people do not resonate with traditional 12-step programs or treatment centers, usually due to perceived religious undertones. They are left with limited to no viable paths to recovery.
In a digital world, the need for local in-person community is rapidly increasing. Unfortunately, when it comes to addiction, recovering addicts oftentimes have to start from scratch to rebuild new friend groups, which are crucial for accountability in recovery.
